>FIND A NEW PLACE TO HIDE... GREAT SUCCESS
The Survivor is right, they are getting far too close to you here, it's only a matter of time before they figure it out and raid the hotel. But where will you go...? You approach the windows in your room and discreetly pry the shutters apart. Once again, evening approaches and the crowds and traffic within the town thins. Even this late, every building you see looks to still be bustling with activity, and only knowing of one other hotel in the town, you feel as though your options are limited.
Then, you feel movement behind you and see Sophia finally stirring from her hibernation. Blearily rubbing her eyes, she sits up and looks at you staring through the window and says "So... Did something happen? I felt like... Like something bad almost happened, in my dreams. I could see through your eyes, I saw the old man and the two men in black. Was that really a dream or did something actually happen?" Seeing no reason to withhold the information from her, you tell her of your need for a new set of skin to blend in, and your encounter with the Spiral agents. She seems surprised, but mostly at the fact that she apparently saw through your eyes in her sleep.
When you tell her of your plans to find a new hideout, she comments offhandedly "Ya know, I did see what looked like an old abandoned factory just outside of town when we came through here. I'll be honest though, I'd much rather stay at a place with air heating, and showers, and toilets and stuff." When you inform her that if the Spiral captures you she'll be lucky to be left alive, she grumbles something about how she supposes being in a dingy old factory would be better than a 6 feet deep hole.
You both agree to wait until later in the the night to make your move, assuming that there would hopefully be less eyes on you in the dark than the light. In the meanwhile, you watch TV, snack on your stolen groceries, and make conversation about your hopes and dreams for the future. Eventually, the town seems to have fully rumbled into sleep for the night, and you tell Sophia that now's the time to make the move. You decide to have her wait in the room while you search the factory for any squatters, telling her that you'll send her a signal when it's safe. You make your way through the towns back streets in the form of the homeless Thing you Communed with, and eventually pavement and brick gives way to wood and grass. There it is, just outside of town and made of brown, stained brick, the old skeleton of once potent industry.
