She opens her eyes, her sword still looking the same, and you’re ready to tell her that it’s fine, that you could try again tomorrow, when she shakes her head, smiling. “I knew it… I said you’d be here, and you are. I was right.” She gives you a brilliant smile, and falls into jinzen again for a second time, before you can even respond.
Almost instantly, her sword begins to morph before your eyes. It shrinks, becoming a size that while still considered a katana, is certainly smaller than the standard. Her tsuba shifts, taking on a rounded, heart-like shape, and the wrappings and sheath of the zanpakuto take on a golden colour.
She remains in jinzen for another hour, before opening her eyes. She briefly looks around to see if anyone’s there, before deciding that she didn’t care regardless, throwing her arms around you and herself into you, bowling you over, and kissing you.
She pulls away, cupping your face in her hands as she stares down at you, everything else in the world completely forgotten in her mind. “I love you so much.” She reiterates, before kissing you again on the floor.
