“You’re right.” You weren’t planning on leaving without saying goodbye like some kind of monster anyway. “Let’s meet here in a bit.” You check your phone’s time. It shouldn’t take you long.
And so, you and your bestie split ways… by going into the same building and following the same path for a bit. It’d be awkward if you weren’t buddies. Anyway, it took a little bit, but you found everyone on your team to say goodbye to.
Scarlet, Rora, Xavi, Susie, and Lise were by the cafeteria and very sad to see you go. Rora and Susie were playing Sparks of Luck. How fun! Rora denied that this *isn’t* her first time playing...
Mama Bodil, Vera, Liu, and Wilma were in a random patient room, and very sad to see you go… except Vera, who was heartbroken, but pretended to be only sad to not make you feel guilty. Also Dylan was here, but imprisoned in a cage, unlike Jaylene — who has never been behind the bars here as she should have. Dossenius went to the bathroom. You don’t have time to wait…
Speaking of Jaylene, you decided it’d be a bad idea to interrupt the lovebirds, so you didn’t bother to check the underground. If anything goes by the random text message you received from Oliver, he couldn’t have more gratitude towards you. If you’re ever in trouble, he’ll make it worse, but he’d be around to try to help.
Took you a bit, but you found Odetta, Dempsey, and Lady Steen chatting in a hallway. Odd combination, but you said goodbye to them nonetheless. You can’t help but feel like Odetta smiles at you differently… Before parting, Steen reminds you of your deal. And Dempsey informs you that he’ll join forces with the other prisoners to stop Quye. Good for them!
Constance, Solomon, Dr. Calamity, Galactic, Misty, and Kata… well, you said goodbye to them as well as you could’ve had. Saying it again would ruin it.
As for the Markgician… He disappeared without leaving a trace… how mysterious… You send him a message because you haven’t fulfilled your part of the deal. All you get is that one fated day, you will. Oh well, the offer still stands. You want to keep him out of trouble.
