The night was uneventful, with only the occasional rustle of blankets or snore breaking the silence. But at one point, you heard the sound of someone getting out of bed, causing you to freeze under your blanket in fear. You remained perfectly still, waiting for something to happen, but after a few minutes of tense silence, nothing did. Eventually, your fear subsided, and you managed to drift off to sleep once again.
The next morning, the corridors are crowded with students standing in groups and talking in hushed tones. Something must have happened. You approach a group of students, and they inform you that a student had been murdered and cannibalized the previous night.
As you make your way to class, you overhear more students talking about the incident, and each conversation is more disturbing than the last. You can't help but wonder who could commit such a heinous act. To your surprise, you soon learn that the culprit is Abdi, your own roommate, who snuck out of bed during the night. The security team escorts him away, dressed in tactical SWAT gear.
You run into Jacqueline in the hallway, both of you looking equally disturbed by the news of the cannibalized student. "I can't believe it was Abdi," Jacqueline says, her voice trembling. "You must have felt so scared."
You nod, still trying to wrap your head around the gruesome details. "I know. I heard him leave our room last night, but I never would have guessed he was capable of something like this."
Jacqueline shakes her head. "Did you see those women in tactical gear? I had no idea the school had that kind of security."
You remember the glimpse you caught of the security team earlier. "Yeah, they looked pretty intense. I guess we shouldn't underestimate the security here." You both continue down the hall, deep in thought about the horrific events that had taken place.
As the morning classes drone on, you can't help but look forward to the break at 10 am. You're eager to speak more with Jacqueline and learn from her expertise. As the time approaches, you feel your heart racing with anticipation. Finally, the bell rings, and you quickly make your way to where Jacqueline is sitting.
"Hey Jaq," you say as you approach her. "Can I ask you something? How would you mix chemicals to make a gas that could knock out people in a room?"
"Are you serious? You can't be considering gassing the school, that's crazy! And what about the innocent people who could get hurt?" Jacqueline responds, shocked by your question.
"I don't want to be a victim of abuse any longer. It's time I take action before it's too late," you explain, your voice tinged with a hint of desperation. "From the moment I arrived here, I've been constantly bullied and harassed, and I don't think I can bear it anymore."
