Doesn’t matter if everyone is uneasy, you need to confront Carmella no matter what. Knowing her story, she’s accustomed to making people’s lives impossible, you must make sure she doesn’t cause problems. She doesn’t recognize you though, you better refresh her memories — she was drunk during the incident, after all.
“Don’t you remember this face from Judgment day?” You get closer as you point at your face!
“G-Get away, you’re entering my personal space!” Carmella looks away, a little embarrassed for whatever reason. The sins of her past haunt her!
“Do you or not?” Lady Steen didn’t hear an answer.
“L-Leave me alone!” Carmella barks back without anything else to say.
“It sounds like you do.” Steen smiles. She’s smelling a deal..
“S-So what? I can barely remember a thing. For stars’ sake, I was so damn drunk. I told you guys I need alcohol in my system to get my powers working.” Carmella admits. “I gotta trust whoever is handling me, it ain’t my fault if I go overboard or whatever this guy is complainin’ about. No matter, I’ve gotten better at handling my drinking, but back then it was another story.”
Carmella sounds convincing, probably believes every word that comes out of her mouth, but that doesn’t mean it’s true. Besides, your issues with her go beyond the fight you had.
“This guy saved our asses. If he’s doubting you, it means...” Squarefelix isn’t sold.
“It means the fat ass I was with made me do who knows what to this dude! Not my fault.” Carmella is annoyed.
“Your actions caused him an inconvenience. An apology is due.” Rahul says.
“I-I said it wasn’t my fault.” Carmella won’t be forced to do anything.
“Responsibility is not all for you to bear, but a piece still falls on your lap.” Rahul shakes his head. “We all are responsible for building a peaceful coexistence. Be good to your fellow people.”
“Couldn’t have said it any better. Nope, nuh-uh. It won’t kill you to say sorry.” Roundbert agrees.
Carmella doesn’t want to say anything still.
“A stubborn individual. My second favorite type of business partner.” Steen is going to have so much fun breaking her apart… Makes you wonder if the guy she’s carrying around is an asshole.
”Look, I’d recommend being a better friend to the people you know.” You tell Carmella. “Goalzilla knows I know two of them that you can start with…” Nina and the former cultist/white flame member who lives with her.
“You mispronounced it, It’s Ghoulzilla! I’m a big fan of the big lizard! Err, I should kep my mouth shut. This is rocket fuel serious.” Roundbert apologetically ‘corrects’ you.
