The Tournament of Power has begun, and already the Ninth Universe has been eliminated. The Sixth, challenging the Eleventh lost several fighters, as did the Pride Troopers. Meanwhile, Universe 3's combined fighter Anilaza was bested by Karn, with a surprise assist coming from the Sixth Universe's Doom. But as we rejoin Karn, exhausted from the battle with Anilaza, Cooler and Freeza are confronting Moro, who fights for the Tenth Universe.
“Well then, Moro. Shall my brother and I do what the Kais were unable to, and seal your erasure from this universe?” Freeza asks, clenching his fists while still hitting his pose as his aura blazes.
“We shall correct the gods' mistakes.” Cooler says, you hearing muttering amongst the various Destroyers and Kai as they hear the Golden brothers' declarations.
“Hmph. Children playing with powers beyond their comprehension.” Moro replies, sneering as his ominous, menacing power flaring up around him.”I shall show you the true terror of-!”
But as you're listening in, suddenly your instincts kick off once more. And turning your head, see once more a heart-shaped energy blast flying right towards you!
“Tch!” you exhale, rolling off the platform you're standing on. Easily dodging the blast, which slams into the platform you'd been resting on and detonates in a massive explosion.
“DAD!?” Caulifla shouts in panic as you fall, flipping as the pillar of rock you'd been resting on and landing in a crouch. Still panting in exhaustion as you drop to the ground, struggling to catch your breath from your fight with the combined fighter Anilaza.
“D-Dammit.” you breathe heavily, Chilli landing between you and the direction of the blast. Raising a wall of his crystals between you and her, looking back over his shoulder to you.
“You alright Dad?” he asks, tone worried. “Did she hit you?”
“N-No. I'm fine.” you reply, chest heaving. “I got. Outta the way.”
“You need to recover. We all need you to recover.” he says, expression serious as more explosions go off in the background, your son glancing off to where you can feel Jiren's power radiating. “Let me put a shield up around you. Strong enough you don't have to worry about weaklings taking potshots, to give you a minute or two of breathing room to really recover.”
