You ask Eulia if she can deliver the Guild newspapers, in addition to what she normally does.
"Sure can do!" She chirped.
"Good. And about the response to Ayane..." You tell her that you'll be at the Order of the Jagged Sword, who are otherwise known as the Centrian Knights.
"Alright! Will do!" She said again as she gave a thumbs up with a wing. "Thankyouseeyousoonbye!"
"See you soon too." You replied to the harpy's afterimage as she raced away.
On your way out Gaul stopped you, then spoke about how he "was lookin' forward to see how far up ya go" and other typical isekai stuff that was supposed to get you inspired. His energy was only comparable to the staleness of his secretary, who you were starting to suspect is his first wife, when she repeated them or added to what the Guildmaster was saying.
Though it was refreshing to know that they were so innocently sincere.
Herta was introducing Annette and Gerty to each other. Yet your Holy Knight seemed more interested in how this particular Guild operated, she wasn't against chatting about "the many virtues masochism had for women". You saw Mel looking at the bulletin board with some curiosity, but then quickly went back to you.
You considered talking to some of the other people around here, maybe figuring how things worked with raising up a family, but you had things to do.
After gathering your wives you went on your way.
Some walking later, and you found an imposing building greeting you. While it was also a mix of medieval and Victorian steampunk, much like the Adventurer's Guild, the main structure of this Military Order was militaristic and of much higher quality, almost looking like a fortress.
"May I help you?" A female guard clad in armor approaches you when she sees you and your wives come closer.
You motion to Gerty, and she readily speaks.
"My Master has come here to give news about the recent defeat of the demonic and the corrupt." Said she. "And I, Gertrude Geiselhaft, a Holy Knight that acts in his name, can testify to his glorious actions and victory."
"Indeed." You confirm. "I am here to speak about a surge of corruption that I recently purged under my jurisdiction. The warped skeleton of a corrupted orc to prove that point." You point at the large bag Cattleya carried.
"I see." The woman responds. "Shall I guide you to the meeting room of Preceptor Justus?"
You nodded and ordered her to lead the way.
What followed was a small tour of the place. The interior was much like the exterior— equally as impressive and clearly military in nature. You saw that there were mortars on display, along with artillery pieces and modern guns. There were open areas where men and women sparred and exercised and stretched. Rooms for practicing abilities, skills, and marksmanship were everywhere you looked. Training was done with light and heavy armors, and even in the usual Victorian garbs.
Yet all of these knights, you noticed, were clearly a fighting force to be reckoned with.
