“Hey, do you see that?” Goku asks, as the angels begin healing their charges. All except one. The clown-looking Destroyer waves off his attendant's aid and rises to his feet, yet as the two of you look to him, see that he's virtually untouched. Unlike all the other Destroyers, who clearly were giving their all in this fight, he was clearly not fighting at the fullest of his ability.
“Yeah.” you reply, not sure what to make of it. But before you can dwell on it, you overhear the Grand Priest speaking with the Zenos.
“Then, shall we cancel the tournament itself?” he asks, catching both yours and Goku's attention.
“Did he just say 'cancel the tournament'?” Goku asks, you nodding to him. Then before you can stop him, your brother leaps towards the deities, calling out. “Wait, hold on Zennies! Don't call it off!”
“Gah!?” Beerus exclaims in shock, you hearing the sentiment echoed around the room full of deities who've shown the utmost respect to the Lord Above All.
“Hmm? What's wrong Goku?” the Zeno on your right says, who's the one that witnessed the Destroyers Tournament and your brother befriended in his own way.
“I know that their battle was too intense to follow.” he says, clapping his hands together and bowing a bit. Thankfully he didn't entirely forget his manners. “Even I couldn't keep up with the Destroyers going all out like that. Well, mostly all out anyways. But our battle won't be anything like that.”
“What do we do?” the Zeno of this timeline asks his future counterpart, who comes to an idea.
“Why don't you show us how you fight, Goku?” he asks, your brother for some reason seeming surprised by this idea. But the Grand Priest is a bit quicker on the uptake.
“I see. That seems more appealing.” the other angels' father says, Goku nervously scratching the back of his head.
“I don't mind, but I can't tell how long I'll be able to last fighting Gods of Destruction.” Goku replies. “Watching this match made me realize that I still have a long way to go...”
“Don't worry, your opponent will be a mortal.” the Grand Priest replies. “Conveniently, the one you call your sister is also here with us. The two of you will be able to demonstrate how you fight for our lords' pleasure. I assume you will take this offer, Amaya. Please, proceed to the stage.”
“Of course!” you reply excitedly, taking a step forward and leaping off the floating platform for Universe 7 and landing on the ring, Goku thanking both 'Zennies' before flying down as well. He lands across from you, meeting your gaze excitedly.
