"AAAAAHH!" Megan screamed, before tripping and landing on her butt.
Stephanie felt someone grabbing the straps of her backpack, before flying off the ground; shooting upwards through the air like a miscalibrated elevator.
The killer raised her up to his horrible mask; dangling her like a naughty toddler.
"I thOugHt I tOld yOu to stAy pUt." he huffed. His voice box must've been damaged; he was spitting sparks with every word.
"Sorry..." Stephanie snarled.
She reached for Maddox's dagger still resting in her ankle.
*SCHLACK!*
"...I wasn't paying attention."
"RrrAaaAaarrRggHhhh!" the slasher dropped Stephanie as the sharp blade went straight through his forearm.
She carefully landed on all fours before looking up at him again.
The man pulled out the dagger with a distorted wince and threw it away; it bounced off the fence to the east before being swallowed by the waterfalls beyond the edge of the cliff.
"I'vE hAd jUst aboUt eNouGh of yOu." he raised his axe in the air with both hands; bright sparks escaping his sharp jaws as he stared down at his victim.
*BLAM!*

Megan was on her ass with the rain pounding on her face. She missed four times. The fifth one got him smack dab in the middle of the chest.
The monstrous man collapsed on his back; his axe escaping his grip and falling to the ground.
Stephanie tucked her knees and rolled away, just as the axe landed on the patch of grass right below where her neck was a second ago.
"Is he dead...?" Megan got up.
"Ouch! I don't know." Stephanie was massaging a few bloody spots on her wifebeater, right above her butt; a few nicks courtesy of rolling around with a chainsaw strapped to your back.
"Arooooo...!" a painful howl came from the gazebo.
"Sarge?!" Stephanie let out a sigh of relief.
