“I'll be back in a few.” you say, turning to Chaya. Who turns to you, nodding back. You then turn to your wife, kissing her on the forehead before reaching out telepathically to Broly. “Hey, Broly, do you have a minute?”
“Of course.” he replies, you pulling back from Meloka and raising your right hand to your forehead. Focusing on your son's ki through the link, teleporting from your world directly to his side. Not on the bridge of his ship, but in the hangar. Where his people are taking things out of a ship of a design you've never seen before, looking like a chrome needle. “Oh, Dad. That was quick.”
“Yeah, about to head out.” you tell him. “On Marron's homeworld there's a room where you can spend a year in there, and only a single day passes out here. So, I'm going to be taking Chaya in there and readying her for her fight.”
“With that Tuffle, right?” he says, brows furrowing as you nod. “It's already almost that close?”
“Yeah. Just stopping by to see you before I head off for a year, and to let you know I'll be gone for the day.” you tell him. “So, if anything happens, I won't be reachable.”
“I understand. So far, only had two other Blargian ships try to approach. And both were vaporized completely. Haven't sensed Raditz, or any of the others approaching.”
“Good. Hopefully soon they'll be freed. Supposedly, the Tuffle's sent them after Namek, but King Cold's already got a defense in place there.” you tell him. “They won't reach the planet, or get anywhere close to what is on there.”
“Very good. Do you think after you and Chaya are done, she'll be able to win?” he asks, you hearing the hesitation in his voice.
“No, she already spent a year in there with her mother yesterday.” you tell him, his eyes widening in shock. “I'm not training her to beat that Tuffle, not really. She's already more than strong enough. But I'm training her for what happens next.”
“Next? What do you mean?” he asks, you seeing worry in his eyes. “Dad, what's happening? What's coming?”
“I don't know. But I DO know that those Zamasu aren't going to just sit back and let things stay as they are.” you tell him. “Not only that, but there are always more threats out there. Each one stronger than the last. So, while she's motivated to train, I'm going to make sure she's ready for whatever comes.”
“I see. It's a good idea.” Broly answers after a moment. “Perhaps, once our child is born and Kori's recovered, I'll redouble on my own training? I've been stagnating a bit recently, perhaps I need to change up how I'm doing things?”
