Giving the player characters hax like that could open a can of worms I wouldn't be comfortable with writing. I wanna be respectful of the source material and be faithful with the themes of Berserko. You can't solve every problem, tragedies and deaths will happen that won't be your fault, but will still be out of your control. Hope is not absolute as neither is despair, so and so. It's why I limit certain things like having firearms. I don't want Vlad to be the absolute end all be all powerful OC that solves every problem by opening console mode because imo that would take the fun out of the story, could easily turn into a slippery slope too.
>X Character dies>Just revive him lmao>That's not one of the options>Wtf so we can fix a horse's balls but can't bring people back from the dead? railroading!I'm aware I'm sounding like the fun police by wording it that way but I feel like it's best to be transparent with those things than just giving a flat no. Felt like I already gave too much leeway for how much of causality Vlad can change with Griffith's scene at the chapel so I want to restrain that going forward. Hope you can understand that.
If you want an in narrative reason it's because Gunpowder is a roidhorse who loves fighting and doesn't care about bitches
