Shultz felt himself stepping backwards at the sudden outburst from the Terrons. He himself held was not one to hold animosity, not after the birth of his daughter did he come to it, yet the demeanor of the Terrons did not fare well to his heart in his age, and was the closest he is to becoming enraged, nearly more so than from General Goer's repetitive reports to the high command that amounts to nothing but stolen valour, seeming content to make the positions of every being under his command, non-Garmillans especially, as stagnant as possible, in a way that elevates himself of course. Shultz still held his tongue, and petered out a measured response. "Of course, we have no expectations for you to confirm or deny any offers we may make, only that it is...thoroughly considered. If we may relocate to a more.., suitable coordinate, perhaps we can converse in a less, tense posture." Not a second later, and in the same cold-sweat-inducing voice returning with a vengeance, now making his ears ring
YOUR TERMS ARE ACCEPTABLE. REPOSITION YOUR FLEET ELEMENTS AT THE PROVIDED COORDINATE, WITH THE SPECIFIC VELOCITY. ALL UNACCOUNTED ACTIONS MUST BE CLASSIFIED AS HOSTILITY.
Shultz gave a mental sigh of relief, just as every ship in the Zul Expeditionary Fleet received a data package containing detailed instructions, which he tasked to be complied with to the letter. The Terron ships then turned on their axis, and burned back. Curiously enough, he noticed that upon beginning their acceleration, a set of hardpoints across the vessel opened and the sensor signatures become, for lack of a better term, foggy, just as the Terron vessels underwent an enormous thrust that Wave Motion Engines would be pressed to match, he realized that the hardpoints were not only some extension of inertial control systems, but also provides drive power, and possibly shielding as well, though he doubted such a system's defense efficacy against anything rather than kinetic munitions and slow plasma, he would rather not underestimate their capabilities. 'Looks like the plan to set up a forward base on Pluton will be delayed...or cancelled entirely. This will look poorly on my record, being herded like cattle by a solar power-!'. Still he would not take his chances. This situation could still be salvaged, he convinced himself.
