+I thank you, Sanctus Dominus.+ TalOS’s father declared as he took to the floor, +Lords of the Mechanicum, I come to you today to present to you the means in which the Machine God meant for us to communicate. The Noosphere.+
Upon those words a group of other Tech Priests came into the room with what looked to be large communication towers. TalOS did not even need a moment to recognize the features of the device.
+I present upon the floor first is the access point of the Noosphere network. It is a device that comes in a series of different forms as many of my colleagues know. This one I present to you is meant to be attached to void ships but can be scaled down to the size of an infantry weapon.+
The Magos gave a moment to pray to the machine as the device slowly began to warm up, +The Noosphere is a device that was based on constant research into teleportation technology that both myself and the Magi of Lucius committed themselves to. It was thought a manuscript found within one of the fallen facilities that gave us the revelation to commit ourselves to this technology, where the Ancient of Aridzonia believed that communication through the warp was possible.+
Magos C4R looked upon the machine and gave another prayer while pressing a series of buttons upon the side of the machine. As he did so it hummed to life with a steady force broadcasting a faint signal.
+Blessed be of Lucius, we followed through the Ancient’s research to completion. I remember this even being eight hundred sixty seven years ago from this date. In the time between then and now, in the fashion of the great Magus of old, we placed ourselves into forging the holy manuscripts and bibles that would guide all who operate this technology.+
The Magos looked upon the system for a moment longer as he weighed its use, +It is a legacy system of Lucius serving out people for the previous centuries fervently. We have had times where error occured, but in our time of further codifying the technology the wisdom of the ancients was used to fix these. They include data failsafes and Doss Aegis to defend against potential attacks that would overwhelm the network.+
With those words he gave a bow to the council that TalOS remembered vividly from the first few moments he arrived upon Lucius, +My Lords, I ask you, does the work of Lucius have the legacy to be accepted?+
TalOS felt a little odd for a moment as he took in the fact that his Father was before him like this. He however did know what was at stake.
