I think one historical precedent for this genre (PENIS FLUCTUATION as STOCK CHART) can be found in the literary works of the famous sci-fi and speculative fiction author JG Ballard, I have read all his short stories. In one of his most famous sci-fi works, genuinely and provocatively entitled "Why I Want To Fuck Ronald Reagan" (1968)

Ironically given that the panels of that Jerkcity / BoneQuest webcomic were imagined by an aapl tech executive, I remember thinking back to that satirical JG Ballard sci-fi story about a technofuture where mass audiences tracked presidential bowel movements lol, it was actually around the time back when Steve Jobs got sick and investors were all clamouring for more information around when he would die etc etc some investors were delving into inordinate amounts of detail as to his state of health (ultimately to no significant fundamental change in aapl stock investment thesis though). There used to be algorithms that would scan the timings of dialogue in corporate earnings calls or Federal Reserve transcript readouts for intakes of breath or breathing pauses (to quantify uncertainty about say Jerome Powell inflation projections or unemployment estimates etc) so that intimate psychosexual biodata monitoring that JG Ballard made up in his silly Presidential sex faeces story is not far from reality
