>>5463456Well, I took a great deal longer than 10 minutes and now my plans are partially out of date. That's my bad. True to life, though, innit? I'll still put them here (unedited) so we can talk over what still makes sense.
>J2 needs two more turns to even have a chance at a shot on enemy inbound, and may well be forced to retreat immediately after in such a case. Given that T-15s are indicated to have at least 5 armor, everyone except possibly J5 is reduced to crit-fishing or flanking. In these circumstances, I judge it better for J2 and R1 to prepare fallback positions for the rest of us (recall that reusing fortifications takes one turn instead of two), then take up positions we've bought them time to prepare.>Dig in J5, add tank traps, position Recons and Dragoons first for the fight, then for the retreating line. If we're outmatched, J5 is first to leave, taking one of the dugouts if feasible, breaking LoS otherwise. If retreat takes us to the final line on the map, lay smoke and turn around, ready to to make a break for the dugouts and lure the enemy expose themselves to our repositioned Jaeger. This turn may be accomplished sooner and out of sight if the tank traps are effective.>This plan may be interrupted at any time should the enemy decide that they've pushed us hard enough and turn for the village. I don't expect they will, but you never know.
