Hey QM, what's your take on the nature of Questoris worlds? I'm under the impression that while culturaly and societal norms adhere to Fuedal heirarchies, they are generally civilized/manfactory worlds as opposed to true fuedal planets where there are actual illiterate peasants and actual knights on horseback.
I can't imagine an entire planet of turnip farmers and pickaxe surface miners used to building trebuchets and brick castles would be of much use to a planet needing to sustain a large force of giant mecha and ferrocrete forts capable of protecting from orbital invasion rather than keeping some feral orks in line, as well as supporting the space elements to transport them.
My thinking is this world while it may become an agri world, the "peasants" and "serfs" will generally be living in rather contemporary conditions, using traktors and industrial scale farming efficiency, with food being preferentially shipped off to less fertile questoris planets such as Dutonis itself where more actual civilized serfs man the factories that build the knight parts under the eye of the Mechanicum. The Knight presence on this world then defend the food source from invasion.
In short, not too much difference from any other Imperial planet with Lowborn and Highborn, just with a heavier Knights theme and actual knights to defend the planet. Which is (probably) an improvement over just the usual PDF deal with a side bonus of watching Jousts on Holonet.
