No longer interested in hearing it, Astamon holds down the trigger, drowning out his voice with his automatic weapon. Casings fly free from the drum-shaped magazine, spinning through the air with various trajectories. They continue chasing him down, and this time, you hear a few clinking against the vehicle and denting it.
"That didn't work out." Ryan remarks.
You glare at him as you think up a new plan.
>Direct your partner in battle to make sure he doesn't fall for any more tricks, and stall Vademon. You no longer think you have time to fight and defeat him with how slippery he is, but there should be city Digimon on the way. If Commandramon wasn't bluffing, Espimon has surely reported on the situation. Maybe if you establish yourself as being non-hostile to them, you might be able to bypass their attention while they enter and deal with this. The downside is that escape will be more complicated after.
>Go back to looking for the door while Astamon fights. However, this is now more dangerous than before. He went for Vademon's ally, and got a bad reaction. You suspect he might try attacking you directly. This enemy does seem like the type to prioritize revenge.
>Search for the exit. Right now, Ryan, Gizamon, and Pulsemon are liabilities. If the battle comes your way, any one of you could be deleted instantly. Try to secure an escape route while trusting your partner to continue battling. You have to stay behind to support him, but getting them out could prove to be a wise move. They could support your mission objectives from the outside while you wrap up here.
