>>5189621>“Yūshūkan is pretty respected around here, right? Maybe we should see what they have to say.”“They’re the best,” Caesar nods. “A bit stuffy and old fashioned though.”
“That usually means they’re good at their job,” you reply, getting another nod.
“I bet they are,” she says. “We’re not going to give it to them yet, though, are we?”
“Definitely,” you confirm. “At most we’ll find out what they want and consider it, but nothing more.”
“Right! That sounds like a plan! I’ll let the others know.” Caesar confirms. “It’s pretty funny that the British Museum came knocking though.”
“It’s very funny,” you agree. “But I don’t see what they have to do with it and therefore why we should bother with them.”
“They’re probably stacked though,” Caesar muses. “Ce la vie, we’re not here for the money though.
“My thoughts exactly,” you reply, before letting her go to lunch and heading to grab some yourself.
>Make sure every tank is inspected since they haven’t been for a week. That evening, when you get into the warehouse, you know exactly what needs to be done. All the tanks you use on operations must be given a proper once over. You know they do because Werewolf needs one since you forgot to do it straight after the Unlimited-lite with Miho apart from a quick scrub. Every tank started in the morning, but that’s probably not something you’ll be able to slack on if you want to keep it that way.
The order is met with resistance since complaining is the job of subordinates and a long task like a full check of a tank means no free time in the evening, but it needs to be done, and once they see Anglerfish and you get started, they also get stuck in. It’s a good thing you did too, as it turns out the Porsche Tiger and one of the Shermans was on the brink of failure that may have put them out of action for a while. It means going to bed late, but once in a while, that has to happen.
