<span class="mu-s">"A lot of you happen to be some of the strongest in Gensokyo. Do you really want to see the land oppressed? Suika, do you really want to go extinct? Mokou, do you really want to be left alone in a desolate world?"</span> Yukari raised them this question before retreating into her gap.
The gap sealed and quickly another one appeared, besides you. Next thing you knew, Yukari had a hand around your shoulder and she was prodding your cheek in a manner dismissive of you as a person. Really, she might have just looked at you as more of a plaything.
<span class="mu-s">"What else did Doremy tell you in her stuffy little domain? If the spirit wants to take out the head of Hell, surely you suspect there could be worst things afoot, no?"</span>
"W-Well..."
You looked to the ground. She was right, but saying it sent a shiver down your back. Admitting it was nerve-wracking.
"Y-Yeah... the, uh, the spirit... he's a giant from an old religion that doesn't exist anymore. Doremy is afraid he won't just annihilate your world, but mine as well. She fears... disappearing from a lack of humans. I... I'm a lot more concerned over the fact that a lack of humans might be planned, per-personally..."
<span class="mu-s">"Mhm. As I thought. Tell us, what's one thing about this spirit's legend that's very notable, honey?"</span>
"...He's said to... end the world."
<span class="mu-s">"And there you have it."</span>
Yukari's gap elevated, away from you. She came over closer to Kasen, resting her chin on her palm as she faced the Hermit who was truthfully an Oni.
<span class="mu-s">"As a Sage of Gensokyo, your duty is ensure this place is preserved."</span> She stated, with almost no care about the Outside World's fate. But it's not like you'd notice after the bombshell she dropped.
<span class="mu-i">"...K-Kasen is a Sage too?!"</span> Marisa nearly fell off her broomstick.
<span class="mu-s">"Everyone here has to work together to solve this. Why don't you tell them that?"</span>
Kasen shut her eyes. She looked to be having a moment of great restraint here. As if she wanted to, then and there, deck Yukari in her schnozz. Her nose's wrinkle and clenched teeth said as much for her, and she opened her eyes to stare at everyone focusing on her, as if awaiting her word. Suika was one who was surely in disbelief herself, to the point she sobered up instantly.
<span class="mu-i">"I... am indeed a Sage. Mistress Yakumo Yukari is correct. This Incident calls for everyone to logically take part in a joint effort to ensure our continued existence by defeating this threat. Yet..."</span> She looked up to the sky; <span class="mu-i">"-...I'm not going to demand or order any of you who weren't involved before to join. However, if you wish to, your help won't be turned away either."</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Ooooh."</span>
<span class="mu-r">"..."</span>
<span class="mu-g">"..."</span>
<span class="mu-i">"..."</span>
