The Temple, as expected, was defaced of most of its immediate grandeur. A lot of the gold that was once in this place was stripped, clearly cut off thanks to the metal’s softness. The stoneworks were different, for many on the ground looked to have been smacked by a pick axe of hatch in an attempt to deface them.
What took Lucian’s interest here was that those works that were high up, such as the many faces of the Ancestor Gods, were not defaced past a certain height.
Walking around Lucian could not help but feel something on the back of his neck. A sense of unease that was creeping into him as they walked into the place. The biggest factor was that they did not notice a single damned undead within the chambers of this place.
“Lord Runesmith!” One of the Scouts called out, “I have found the Royal Graves!”
“Lets see the damage then.” Adok said as he glanced at Lucian.
The two of them walked into the tomb. This one, unlike the previous, looked to have gone for depths further into the mountain stone instead of raising the coffins high towards the sky. Yet still the first coffin was the one to be expected, Adok running his hands over the sarcophagus of the first royarch of this place.
Adok lifted the lid just a small bit, shaking his head as he lowered it, “They took the First King.”
“Then we should look through the others. See if they claimed all of them.” Lucian suggested as he kept his eye out for anything coming from the darkness.
He was lucky that he did, for as Adok walked towards another of the many graves of dead Lords and Kings Lucian noticed something shimmering in the air. With a tackle Lucian sent Adok to the side as the staff of his scythe felt the impact of a ghostly axe.

Lucian felt ectoplasm splash in his face as the ghostly Dwarf roared into his face. Lucian had to push with all his might to send the ghost back. He could not understand why something that was not there seemed so heavy, but he was able to push the soul back with a good stroke of might!
It seemed they were found, quickly as well.
