"Ah, Ganishka. I was hoping for you to show your cotton shaped face here! Are you ready to be consumed by one that matches your power? " Barnham starts his speech, but seeing how Ganishka was only there to warn the people and successfully make them panic, he quickly dispersed in the direction of the sea.
"There can only be a great army if it is led by Barnham The Great! COME BACK HERE!" The bear roars, transforming into his unleashed state to look for his nemesis' location.
"Hopefully they kill each other..." Guts grits his teeth.
"Sonia was indeed right... The Dakas have infested the city! Not even the port is safe, Makaras and crocodile Pishaca have surrounded the area.
"We can still get you all onto my battleship if the path is cleared off."
"No hard feelings?" You ask Roderick, surprised to see him smiling as Magnifico whispers to him.
"But what of our plan, Rod? I thought you wished to become powerful."
"Vlad has shown me you should always aim higher. Like he has said before, there are more powerful entities in Midland that could aid me politically. However, I would like to study and hear about Lord Griffith before deciding on whether I should compete with him and Ganishka for Charlotte's hand." Roderick boldly claims to wish for Charlotte's hand instead.
"You, taking Charlotte from Griffith?" Guts laughs. "Good luck with that, the last people who went after the royal family ended with their heads buried before their bodies.
"Ah, so you know about The Band Of The Hawk's leader? I would not mind listening to your stories...?"
"Guts."
"It'll be interesting to learn with you, Guts. I can only hope the women and children do not mind being in a warship."
"Thanks, you're exactly the type of captain we need for now."
"I don't want to be anywhere near this scandal when it picks up steam! Do you mind if I come with you, old pal?"
"Sure. Ys is in neutral terms with Midland, either way. I hardly doubt we are obligated to participate in the war.
"Let's get out of here, then. The living commanders can lead the civillians into the administration buildings." Serpico explains.
