Though it may have seemed like a good idea to try biting you to pieces, the kraken may have mistaken himself in doing so; he brought you within biting range, and now you're furious with pain. Before he can tear another chunk of you off, you retaliate with your own fanged maw. As close as the two of you are, he can't avoid you ripping into him and in such a vulnerable area of his body as well. You taste octopus flesh and coppery blood, several bites in rapid succession. Not truly comparable to the one grievous bite he took out of you, but harmful all the same.

As the kraken thrashes around in pain from your undersided attack, you have the chance to break free of his grasp. It isn't for long though unfortunately, as you try to swim away again and nearly make it, if not caught on your leg by a lashed out tentacle. Soon the rest of them writhe their way around you. Having learned from his mistake before though, he makes sure to keep you at arms length. At your mightiest you might have been able to best him in strength, but the missing bite chunk to your body is taking its toll as blood continues to billow forth.
<span class="mu-r">"AAAAAhhh... HHHHHaven't tasted divine blood before."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"-nnnnngggghhhHHHAAAAARGH!"</span>
The outcome is inevitable then, as one after the other more tentacles wrap around each of your limbs. Two to each in fact for all eight, the intent not obvious to you at first. What you didn't realize immediately though, you come to feel eventually as the kraken pulls. More and more, tighter and tighter. An unyielding suction grip of your limbs, he pulls differently in four directions and seems eager to rip your body apart. Limb from limb, the pain increases the more your body gives way. Ripping, cracking, the combined strength of the kraken's tentacles inches ever closer to dismembering you, and you more than feel it in screaming agony.

All may have seemed lost then, an untimely end to your divine destiny. After all this fighting however, all the wounds sustained, the blood has really had a chance to flow freely and mix with the waters. It's not a scent you enjoy or are used to, but your own blood in your senses begins to drive your anger and agony... to a blood frenzy.
<span class="mu-b">"-ARGH! GAH... GRRRRRAGH!"</span>
Almost at your body's breaking point, you gain a newfound and monstrously instinctive strength. With all the might you can muster, you clench your muscles and try to pull your limbs inward once more, as much as you can. A water-piercing shriek emanates from your enemy, as you manage to actually rip off a couple arms of the kraken in your effort. His blood spews through the waters, overtaken only by his ink which he floods the area with in a panic.
