“My sons, you might feel that such a desire I hold is estranged from your previous beliefs. That it is the antithesis of what you have previously been told to believe. To bow yourselves not to the Emperor but the Machine God. But you would be mistaken. Before even your births the blood that inhabits your veins and crystallized in the dormant thoughts were of those chosen by the Machine God.”
None of them moved upon those words but quickly the Acillians were building a network within the Noosphere. Said conversation was accented by the fact that many of the Tech Priests were starting to view this event from all points they could witness. Let it be the air, ground, or through the eyes of TalOS’s Acillians. He did not stop them for he knew it would only help him.
“Saint Heisenberg, Saint Gellar, Saint Bismark, Saint Einstein, and the greatest among them Saint Oppenheimer. These are just a few of those who share your blood. While it be deluded and mixed over the years these men all shared in some way the same genetic heritage of yourselves.”
TalOS began to move from his spot. Pacing in such a way that those who looked upon him were now becoming entertained by his sheer motions, “From Oppenheimer who cracked the blessed atom into an eon long revolution into the technologies of radioactive fire to Saint Gellar who gave us the gift of traveling the Warp. These Saints who were touched by the will of the Machine God shared your blood! These Ancients were of you!”
He could feel them, upon a line long shut by the Blackstone. It was like an organ that TalOS felt was steadily lifting itself.
“Thus you come to me not as estranged pagans but as the true heirs to the Machine God. Surely each and every one of your have felt some presence of the Machine God as I had. From the moment you wielded your first Lascannon to the Hell-Gas generators that have left so many of your enemies dead. Each and everyone of you has felt an innate kinship that no other Asartes could. The Kinship of the Machine God’s chosen!”
With a smile TalOS cheered, “From here onwards I demand each and every one of you to acknowledge it yourselves. To know that you are the Guardians of the Machine God from even before you drew breath.”
He was getting there, “But you are not alone. As you all become the Guardians of the Machine God you will not serve alone.”
And like that TalOS could feel them, all of them. But as he took a moment to see if this was simply a fluke he noticed something odd.
The Psi-Sensors were not picking any more psychic presence than before.
