>>5145791The town up close and ground level is a lot rougher looking than you thought it was earlier. The buildings look large and look dirtier than you thought they were. The people are unwashed and ugly and talk loudly with flying spittle everywhere. The Stone District is a seemingly unpleasant place even only a block or two inside, the slummy areas deep in the district must be terrible. It's almost like home, well the general air of ugliness and dirt is, your home was a jungle camp full of stupid goblins shitting in a hole, not this. For the next few hours you spend your time looking around the Stone District, almost catching a few beatings from enraged strangers you bump into, digging through garbage, and generally looking for things your goblin mind finds interesting. You do find a few shinies from the garbage can you dug through, of course you can't keep them given your blanket has no pockets and the guards routinely inspect your room, but its still nice to rub your hands all around them. There's also that bar the ugly child mentioned earlier, you could go snoop around it's alley to see what he meant by coming to the alleyway "to be free."
After hours of exploring the Stone District you don't really do a thorough look around of the Coal district only spending a scant hour running around it like mad. The only interesting thing you see from your cursory look is a tanned merchant from the Land of Va, one of his stones speaks to you on a primal level and draws your gaze to it.
There's many things to do in town but you only really have time for one thing before dark and the guards check your room every night. What do you do?
>Go to the bar alley>Go talk to the vendor from Va>Let's see what that tower's about... (1d100 Wo3)(2/2)
