[HALE] "The last I have to show you is Yongesia. The Sword Continent."
[HALE] "It is a wetlands composed of a set of large islands. The place was known for its swamps and volcanic regions, but nowadays is little more than the largest collection of "No Man's Lands" there is. You see, Yongesia is constantly experiencing battle and war. It is the home of the Samurai culture, who in the past used to be an entire people, until they were all absorbed by the Trinity and warped into what they are now."
[HALE] "An entire continent acting as frontlines to protect Shengesia. It is hardly sporting any civilian infrastructure anymore, though a few wards exist that enable civilian travel and operation, mostly to act as supply nodes for the greater Yongesian areas. The structures still standing on it are all forts held by the Samurai, and castles that act as their command bodies various ports."
[HALE] "If you ask me, the place is a personal laa-laa boowoo land for the Daitengu. They call him Scheiracht, the "Blade of Blades". He is the Trinity's best warrior and general. A demigod who revels in enforcing the regime by any means necessary. He is the Samurai's highest commander and the General of the Armies of the Trinity."
[HALE] "If one were to begin to dream of fixing the problems in Shengesia, they would need to fix the problems in Yongesia. And frankly, the idea is ridiculous in the first place. But you'll try nonetheless, won't you?"
I merely nodded to him. He chuckled.
Yongesia... So that is the gist of the Samurai and their story? It is depressing. A whole people, whole nation with its own culture, subsumed by the neighbors and made into slaves...
I feel a seething contempt in my heart for the Trinity. I feel Majordomo flaring up.
But now, I wanted to learn about the gods.
