>>5397288Thank you kind anon for the recommendation! I do know about Choiceofgames, I think I discussed it with some anons here in the past, I played a few and they are pretty fun.
hehe, now I prefer to read literature and poetry like Beowulf or Gilgamesh or Shakespeare, play old videogames and watch a few films now and then. But mostly I like to dream about worldbuilding and rpgs. I do all this for free, because it is quite enjoyable.
>money>the accursed vampire sorceryA long time ago I worked very briefly in equity derivatives (flow swaps), then in syndicated loans, and technology M&A. Then I worked for 13 years in investment management; my team covered global equity portfolios totalling GBP6 billion in AUM for various institutions, mainly pension fund mandates and charities primarily indexed to MSCI World, where I focused on technology and consumer discretionary sectors. I sponsored about 10% of the total portfolio names myself, and I directly traded GBP175m in equities and also about 40m in currency swaps. I met a lot of companies (all of them, I met all the company CEOs and CFOs muahahaha) and attended a few events, but in the great scheme of things though I was a very minor junior underling.
