>Return to your room and talk to Phascomon. A big change has taken place, and you want to speak with him about it. You have a feeling that he's going to be much more receptive from now on. It's also important to talk about your game plan, moving forward.
You flee the celebration and retreat to the safety of your room. On instinct, you hit the reset button, attempting to tidy up the sheets. Panic sets in once you realize what you've done, but fortunately, the function is completely disabled. Phascomon jumps off your head and lands on the rug, his tiny wings flapping uselessly as he lands.
<span class="mu-s">"What a party, huh?"</span>
"Yeah. I'm surprised you could stay standing for so long."
<span class="mu-s">"Healing code does wonders while I'm in there."</span> He says, motioning to your Digivice. "Gonna need more of it, though."
You collapse backwards onto the bed, looking at the ceiling once again. For the past two days, you've been staring sleeplessly at this concrete square every night. It's starting to look familiar. But you know you can't stay here long-term. It's just not for you. You'll have to decide how and when to move on.
He seems to have the same idea. He clambers into a chair and lounges in it lazily, but his eyes are on you.
"I-"
<span class="mu-s">"Hey-</span>
You both pause.
"You go."
<span class="mu-s">"I wanted to say thanks. You've made good on your word already. I Digivolved thanks to you. Wouldn't have gotten that strong all by my lonesome. Then again, me doing it saved your behind, so I think I deserve a little credit too..."</span>
"Of course. You came back for me, after all. I think we're past your whole coy phase by now."
<span class="mu-s">"Hey, don't get cocky. You might be the best partner I've had, but that's still just top 50%."</span>
You suppress a laugh. Some things won't change that easily, you suppose. At least his grumpiness is devoid of malice now.
<span class="mu-s">"But seriously. We're good, right? After everything that's happened-"</span>
"I get it. If it's not too painful, I at least want to hear about it. Since we're friends and all."
