>>6120905>>6120910>business cardsI have two anecdotes relating to this. The best business card I ever encountered was NESN VX IR, it was just a plain white card he wasn't even a very senior person, but the card wasn't printed it was embossed there was no black ink or anything (ie somehow, all the lettering and NESN corporate logo etc imprinted and crimped?? sunken into this really thick rich white card, I was astonished and emotionally overwhelmed). Then a really crass encounter I had, this was meeting TSCO LN (Tesco uk) CEO Phil Clarke (he was CEO around 2014ish, he had a troubled tenure eventually ousted after declining LFL sales). You would think if you are CEO of the largest UK supermarket, just a business card that said CEO would be enough, but instead he had some sort of armigerous crest, these armorial swirls and coronets and shields and feathers and things, which as far as I could tell he had basically just invented lol (I don't think he held a knighthood or anything unlike his predecessor Sir Terry Leahy) and strangest of all he did not even have Tesco the company name on his card, just his own name and address and his strange invented chivalric shield embellishment designs, which seemed bizarre. Most business cards of standard corporate quality just have raised ink (ie slightly ridged edged ink lettering) some do not even have this lol. There are also some gimmick cards I have seen vertically orientated ones, but in general, the plainer and simpler the better
>acquisitions vs "aquisitions" (sic)wow anon, I never noticed this, amazing
It is true, I had a silver card case like this and did also prefer double-breasted suits. No bow tie though lol
