The Mechanicum of course had powerful weapons like the Transuranic Arc Bust but such a weapon will not serve the 20th well. Such a weapon was meant for Skitarii who saw a chance after all.
The M3 LT4 was sadly not a fully regulated weapon. A beam of destruction was indeed something TalOS could employ but it was still in the workings of the fledgling council who was looking over pieces of technology. Its distribution would take a few months to get started and TalOS would not give his brother unsanctified technology.
Thus he looked towards the heavy weapons he had intimate knowledge of. Weapons like the Plasma Annihilator or the Neutron Laser were weapons that formed within his mind.
But with a fellow Primarch, someone whose mind was equal to TalOS’s own, there was no need to go so simple.
The base was a simple one at the end of the day, the Lasgun. Such technology however had been the favored of the darkage and to the Mechanicum the easiest weapon to have modified. It has had a variety of differences from the small laspistol to its technology being employed in ship batteries. The question at the end of the day in determining its strength was the amount of power it could contain and the amount of power that could be processed into a single shot.
For the amount of power held, TalOS decided that a small core should be fine enough. The spear will be able to charge up its own power and shoot. This had the deficit of making it a single shot and only one shot for an entire day. To charge this shot he would install a plasma core into the weapon.
As for the weapon’s striker, a processor based on the Volcano Cannon of a Titan was the base. Though delicate such a weapon could be made by the hands of the Primarchs.
As the design was coming to forwishen TalOS realized that he could place one more tool upon the weapon.
>A self teleporter for the weapon, so that the 20th can always call upon the weapon.
>Teleport Jammer Tech
>A shard of Blackstone, so that it cn kill even psykers.
