“Ah, Chamel. Welcome back. I take it your mission was a success?” your lord asks, you not lowering your weapon as you keep your eyes on Majin Ozotto. Waiting for the monster to make a move, your spell a thought away from casting and ending this creature's pitiful existence.
“Yes, my lord. I made contact with two of our spies inside. And it would seem that Mechikabura believes Majin Ozotto here to be one of Chronoa's agents.”
“Hooooh? Well well, this changes things.” your master says, grinning. “It would seem that today is your lucky day. Robelu, stand down.”
“Thank you, my lord!” Ozotto exclaims, dropping to his knees and pressing his forehead to the ground in a sign of fielty. “I will not fail you again.”
“See that you do not.” your master warns, leveling his orb-tipped scepter down at the creature. “Or having Robelu kill you here would be considered a mercy. Now, Chamel, tell me. What other information did our informants gather?”
And as you listen to information gathered from beyond the barrier of Conton City, one detail sticks out to you. How did someone set up a barrier in that Saiyan's timeline? One that neither the Supreme Kai of Time Aeos nor the Dark Demon God Mechikabura himself was able to see happen, much less who made it? Yet, as Chamel relays more information, you get the gut feeling that the disgraced former Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa isn't the one behind it either. Something like that just isn't her style. But if not her, then who? Who else could it be, good enough to slip undetected right under the gods' noses? Whoever it is, you have a gut feeling that, sooner or later, they will come for your lord. And it will be your job to protect him, with even your life if necessary to achieve his goals.
