The limbs of the creature were replaced with what could closely be called razors as perfect as a blade. These weapons slammed into the flesh of TalOS and were repelled with his skin tightening to adamantine levels of strength.
How the Motive Force interacted with these blade-like limbs brought inspiration within the mind of TalOS. He felt how the Motive Force clearly sliced through the bindings of atoms and how they would have succeeded to hurt TalOS if his Nanomachines were not built at a subatomic level of understanding.
Quickly appearing within his left hand was the Omnissian Axe whose powerfield slammed into the armored carapace of his opponent. If this weapon was normal then nothing would have happened, but TalOS and D3X had both made modifications to the weapon to make the powerfield stronger than any of its sibling relics. The bone shattered as the atomic structure was turned into particles.
The creature gave another roar and TalOS found himself bombarded with the strings of whatever being was trying to infect him. He could not actively rebuttal the attack and quickly found that his Nanites were to be his passive defense. They kept strong, but against a single form they were already starting to struggle.
TalOS did not let this attack go unpunished and threw his axe upon its head. The creature quickly brought its remaining hand to defend, shattering the limb in an instant. It instantly recognized its future death and tried to flee.
For its troubles its lower torso was eradicated by the beam in the hands of TalOS, which killed it.
TalOS quickly picked up the carcass and gave the command to start falling back. He gave a quick prayer to the Machine God and a prayer of ritual cleansing to remove the influence the monster had upon his flesh.
New measures needed to be made for TalOS to defend himself. That much was clear as he began the retreat from the frontlines. If he was upon Particep Semper he would be defended by the great Machine Spirit but he could not collect samples like that. Clearly he needed to develop his understanding of the Motive Force but how he would do so…
