TalOS was still hungry, but that hunger was being sated upon the souls of the man-machines. His eyes glanced upon the psyker and like that she crumbled in the fear he was currently enjoying.
The Psyker was but a gateway into the Warp. TalOS knew that to be a fact. A gateway to the limitless energies that flowed through it and what was previously his fuel source for his soul. He knew it was the size of his soul that was causing him to be like this. The size of a soul which could only have been maintained in the warp. The powers of the warp were so prevalent within him that any who looked upon his body were forced into a psychic awe.
Now he was something else. He was a Pariah whose soul should have caused its termination upon birth. A creature that entire planets would have seeked to murder lest it escaped. The only reason he stood here was that the Priests of Xana had enough servitors to carry him out and enough Pariahs to keep his influence away from them.
He took one step and the psyker fell onto the floor. Its hair was strung out along with a small injury upon the head. It was not dead, not yet, but TalOS had caused it to experince the worst trauma imaginable.
But he did not eat it. He did not eat it for he was a noble creature. One whose entire life was trained in the art of temperance and could not be so easily thrown to devour an innocent soul.
Was she innocent, she was a psyker. She was a danger to all and if she did not face death here with TalOS she will surely meet it when becoming bound to the Astronomicon. There was no other fate she could have for neither the Imperium nor the Mechanicum could do so.
Then again, was he being held back because of his humanity. Or maybe it was the Titan who forced him to approach her standing. No, he could feel him, Particep Semper was more than willing to have this creature before TalOS die. It was his instinct as a Princep which was holding him back. An ever shifting instinct that told him to always pull back against the God Machine lest it take over his mind.
There must be another way, or should he waste time looking for it? If there was another way TalOS knew it would take months, maybe even years before his mind realized its potential.
>Eat the psyker
>Demand the Xanites lock him up to prevent the murder.
>Send for a Stasis Pod to get him off this planet, we will not murder.
