Currently in the midst of planning/brainstorming a Backrooms-flavored Digimon quest. Hence looking for some potential interests.
The basic premise being that it takes place a decade after a group of 'chosen ones' saved and rebooted the Digital World. Since the debacle was caused by an experimental human learning AI (think Tay)
MC and his childhood friend get tossed straight into the Digital World, skipping the Purgatory/Backrooms, and must find a way back by traversing through said Backrooms levels. On the way they unravel the events 10 years ago regarding the digidestined. Entities would correspond to Digimon.
Will probably keep the partner Digimon pool limited for plot reasons. Plan is to let readers pick partners from two separate pools. One pool of normal mons and one pool of waifu mons so things balance out.
