As for UZ1 she took the moment to line up two targets that she determined to be vital. They were Scorched, the bodiless brains that would occasionally start manifesting forms of psychic power. These Xenos were in mechanized suits of armor that allowed them the same mobility as bipedal creatures.
Her first shot scored a direct hit into the glass that the Xenos was using. There was a shimmer as the Volkite met its mark, likely a shield mechanism protecting the Xenos inside, but it failed to save the Xenos as the bolt of energy ripped into its gew like body.
The other one was much more lucky than its fellow. As the pulse cracked on its shields the Xenos raised a hand towards UZ1 in recognition as being the leader. One of the Acillians quickly moved himself in the way of the attack, but it was not ultimately nessecary.
Whatever Psychic power that was creeping through the Xenos quickly began to bubble and mutate across its skin. It looked like it was going to scream in terror before UZ1’s mind began to hear a screach.
But the screeching… it was not nonsense.

+No!+ UZ1 declared not even knowing who was speaking to her before taking her Volkite and placing a pair of rounds into the Xenos Psyker whose screaming led to the voices.
As she did that numerous xenos began to have their heads explode as the creature died to UZ1’s bolt. It took her a moment to realize it, that the battle was finally over for all involve. From that single screech those who were not dead were on the ground gibbering. The Acillians, who had all recovered from the attack, made short work of the disabled Xenos with impunity.
UZ1 took a moment and made sure that her Aegis was still engaged after that event. Her Machine Spirits found no breach on the Technical front and she ultimately found no hazards in herself. With a thought she removed the memory of what had happened there and prepared to place it in the report with the rest of the finding here.
