The entity stomps into the room with slow, deliberate steps. You peer your head around the vending machine to get a better look at it. "Fuck." You hiss under your breath. It's the anomaly and it's not looking good at all.
A massive gash has been carved horizontally across its chest and by the looks of it, it's pretty damn deep. You can make out various colored wires poking through the gash, cut by whatever made the gash. Though you have a good idea.
A low, rumbling static physically surrounds the entity, hiding it in a snowy haze. It's like looking into a TV that's struggling to pick up a signal. It scans around the room with its film camera head. For a split second, it flickers over to a spot five feet away from the spot it's standing on, before returning back.
"I KNOW. BZZT. SOMEZBZTZTZ. IS HEBZT. WHERE ARE YOU?" You can barely make out its voice underneath the haze of static. "ARE YOUBZZTTHERBZZTEGREBZZTGORY, YOU BASZZZTTT?" Shit, you thought it would've been knocked out for a bit. Though you doubt it's at full strength right now either.
What do you want to do, Nicole? Your hiding spot isn't the best right now...
>[AERIAL DRONE] Send out the drone as a distraction and fucking book it! (-AERIAL DRONE, you'll distract it long enough to get out of sight.)
>FUCK THIS THING! Pick up the vending machine you're hiding behind with your mind and yeet it! (-1 RESTRAINT, you roll 8d6 on your attack. If you roll better than its attempt to dodge it, you'll injure it and keep it distracted long enough to get out. An injured anomaly is easier to deal with later.)
>[SEEKER OF THE CITY] You doubt it can see well with the static around it and you are curious about that producer's office. Start sneaking over to the office... (TALENT DC: 18. Pass and you'll be able to enter the Producer's Office, which might offer some valuable info for dealing with the anomaly later and it'll likely wander off after fruitlessly searching for you. You rather not think what it might do if it spots you.)
>[ANOMALOUS ABILITIES] Try your best to stay hidden behind the vending machine while reading into its mind. Part of you wants to understand this entity more. (-1 RESTRAINT, WILLPOWER DC: 22. Pass and you'll get a better idea on the anomaly's capabilities and weaknesses. Failure will probably offer more information at the cost of obliterating a lot of your RESTRAINT.)
>[UNSTABLE] Some part of you is urging you to get out of hiding and to just talk to it. Mono on mono, insane dumbass to insane dumbass. (Entering a conversation with it is very risky but you might get something very valuable if you find the right things to say.)
>Write in. (Use another item? Do another plan? Something else?)
