You do notice that "Queen" Sarka doesn't look very... royal, simply wearing a suit and tie.
After doing some digging you find out this is a result of some kind of riot by the people a good while ago, which made the government much more careful about how they dress and present themselves, especially when it comes to how much they flaunt their wealth.
