As the Flounder Feeder lacks a jaw or other means of leveraging its strength beyond the bare minimum to move it, these do little for the pincers’ killing power. They do, however, help clamp down on things once grabbed which coupled with the weight of lead, leaves no hope for escape in lesser prey. If a Flounder Feeder fails to tear a chunk of flesh from a Stomper’s limb and clamps down, they’re consistently able to break free, often to destructive effect.
