“That was fun! I might have to make that a regular part of my routine workout.” you said, stretching your arms and massaging the part of your back where Ryu and Kazuya had kicked you. It was almost the exact same spot.
“The AI could use a little work though.” you added. “They’re not really adaptable when they come across an unknown variable, y’know?”
Ember shook off her dumbfounded expression and let out an indignant huff.
“Gimme a break, man. I literally coded those guys in like 10 minutes. If anything, you were lucky that they lasted as long as they did.” she argued. “With enough time, I can improve the AI, add in simulated stages, and a whole bunch of other things. This was just the alpha.”
“Right. But that’s not all you can make.” you said, narrowing your eyes at her. “Like, do you think you can whip us up some cool suits?”
Ember shrugged.
“Sure, that's easy enough. What do you want?”
“I'll let you come up with the designs.”
Ember’s expression grew thoughtful, and she glanced over at the other Desperados as if to consider what they would like.
“If you can make this guy wear anything other than this same green striped shirt, you'll officially become my favorite Desperado.” Black Cat said, jabbing a thumb at Flint.
“Hey! This is the easiest form that I can take.” Flint complained.
“Alright. We're gonna do this one at a time.” Ember said, ignoring the others and turning back to face you.
The suit materialized faster than you thought it would, forming out of the recycled pixels that had once been a part of your simulated opponents. It dropped right into your hands, folded neatly for your convenience.
The mask was red, like Abe’s, but the majority of the suit was black, with a large white slash running from the forearms, down to the legs. Criss-crossing black lines intersected the white fabric, creating a web-like pattern. The chest part was dyed red, like the mask and gloves, but there was a conspicuous lack of a symbol there.
As soon as that thought came to mind, though, a large black spider stretched out from the black regions of the suit’s torso to cover the chest. And if that wasn’t enough, Ember spawned a red jacket on top of it.
“There!” What do you think?” she asked.
What will you say?
>”I’m both surprised and disappointed that it isn’t video game related.”
>”This seems more like something that Spider-Man would wear. It’s a good thing we’re the same size.”
>”Not bad. The jacket is a nice touch.”
>”Actually, could you make this instead?”(Write-in or post image)
>”I think it still needs a little something…”(Write-in.)
