TalOS’s domination of the planet did not do much to his ultimate position, but it did make a statement of influence politically. Those among the Federation who started to see TalOS as a civil leader were quickly corrected at the sheer mechanical brutality that TalOS turned a civilization into its component pieces. Such was the reason some minor requests being made of him as of late decreased in amount.
TalOS did not mind these requests as many of them did not even take a second of his time. Unlike others who need to take a minute or two to write down their thoughts or instruct someone to take care of it, TalOS was more than able to take care of the affairs of his planetary governors. For him it was only ten seconds worth of thought on something that only needed his cursory approval on something he only had say in because they wanted to check all their fellows.
The Fabricator General might have a small regret now the more he thinks about it, but there was nothing he could do about it.
These requests were processed in a single session, roughly ten minutes worth, every day when he could get to them. Such an amount of time fluctuates between the frequencies but TalOS never took more than half an hour’s time to finish them all.
It was during this time that TalOS noticed a message which was slightly off. He studied it within his mind’s eye seeing that it was a direct message from Terra itself. Unlike many of the many messages from Terra though, TalOS saw that this one did not bare any psychic marker of it being from the Sigillite.
So TalOS looked upon the components which were scribed into the message by machine-slaved men who were listening to the madden ramblings of Astropaths.
TalOS,
We have only met once upon Terra within the Libraries, so short was this time that you might have forgotten me. I, Ahzek Arhiman, ask that you come to Terra to save my Legion from blight.
I offer you all that I can, even my eternal soul, but help us.
A Tech Priest does not forget fellow seekers in knowledge, Ahzek.
>Go to terra to help the 15th
>They will simply suffer silently.
