As you and Jaq make your way to the student council room, you can't help but feel a sense of excitement building inside of you. You've been thinking about the dimensional anomaly, and are eager to start investigating. You know that Seo-young and Jaq will get along great, and you can't wait to see them interact. The thought of all three of you working together to solve the school's mysteries fills you with excitement and anticipation. In fact, a few days ago, the thought had crossed your mind about organizing a party with all your friends and calling it the "GirlCrew."
>>5619267Jaq, who seems to have picked up on your energy, grins at you mischievously. "Are you ready to do this?" she asks, her eyes bright with anticipation.
You nod eagerly, your heart racing with excitement. "I'm ready," you say, determination clear in your voice.
After you enter the student council room, you find Seo-young sitting at her desk, surrounded by stacks of papers. She looks up as you and Jaq enter, and her annoyance is clear on her face.
"Who's this?" she asks sharply, nodding in Jaq's direction.
You take a deep breath and step forward. "This is Jaq," you say firmly. "She's my friend and roommate, and she's going to help us investigate the dimensional anomaly."
"I wasn't aware that we allowed non-council members to enter the room," Seo-young says, looking at Jaq with skepticism.
You step forward and defend Jaq, saying, "Jaq is a good and intelligent person who has a lot to bring to the team."
Seo-young raises an eyebrow and responds, "I'll have to test that." She gets up from her chair, clearly intending to challenge Jaq in some way.
She turns to Jaq and asks her what she's proficient with. Jaq answers, "Uh, chemistry and analytical thinking. I didn't know I was passing a test, though."
Seo-young answers, "That's not what we need here. We are investigating dangerous phenomena. Are you strong? Are you daring? Are you able to think and react quickly?"
Jaq seems confused by the question, unsure of how to answer. Without warning, Seo-young launches a devastating right hook to Jaq's stomach, causing her to double over in agony and collapse onto the floor. Reacting instinctively, you race to Jaq's side, helping her up and checking to see if she's hurt.
Shaking your head in disbelief, you ask, "What the hell was that for?"
Seo-young glares back at you, her expression unfazed. "I needed to test her reaction time and endurance," she replies coldly. "This is a tough job, and I can't have anyone on the team who can't handle themselves."
