Talon against Axe was the dance the two of them held against one another as the Omnissiah faced off against the greatest sin that mankind had ever created. He could taste the sheer hate and lust for violence that the creature gave off as its enlarged jaws came just a foot away from his arm.
The Demi-God brought his weapon up and parried a slash that was going for his head. In this singular moment he had time shift just the smallest amount to allow him to escape another talon that was going for his legs. Using this small burst of speed the Omnissiah brought his axe over and tried to slice off one of the talons the daemon sported.
Drach'nyen saw this coming and morphed his body to reflect this. Suddenly an overextended talon became a black mash of ooze that had no discernable characteristic except that it was long. In the next moment the limb was drawn back into the center mass of the daemon like a moldable mass.
The Omnissiah did not threat and sent a rider in the form of his weapons pommel into the center mass of the First Murder. As the Axe was in someway the Omnissiah, he felt the sickening putrid pus that made up such an amorphous concept.
The first murder was something that the common man knew, and as such while everyone knew of the first Murder they did not know what form it took. It was this concept that empowered the creature into becoming something that was all things. A concept that was both form and formless.
As it was Murder, Drach'nyen knew the tactics of war. With its body impaled by the pole instead of the blade the Daemon threw himself forward in an attempt to slice at the weilder. A savage beastial attack that the Daemon had witnessed several thousand men commit in their final moments of life. The difference here was that Drach'nyen was not so easily killed.
With as the newest set of jaws sailed towards the divine, the Omnissiah quickly twisted and flew below the Deamon with the creature still impaled. When the teeth might have closed the divine slammed his feet into the jaws and sent a volt of green lightning through its entire body. Even if it was formless it still obeyed the laws mankind recognized, one of those being that lightning robbed the body of control. Thus the Daemon could not close its jaws upon the foot of the Divine with the Omnissiah rocketing towards the ground.
