Just came in from the doctor, thankfully all my organs were still there. Still want to take a break this weekend since I want to catch up on a few shows, also re-read the arc and plan ahead a bit.
How did you feel about Vlad's solo adventures in Midland? Was it cut too short or did you guys want to go back to canon that much?
Doing a cameo for Jill and Rosine was fun, even if my fav arc was mostly skipped. Sure left a lot of things in the air until the 4th. Will Vlad interefere in the fight, or will he let things run their course? Will either one of them believe in a dead man's answers? Is Puck going to mistake Vlad for a giant elf?
You can find out next month, I'll be here answering questions when I can so be sure to hit me for them.
>>5179261You can try to take Guts away from there, but Casca isn't there with him right now, only the little elf guy. The path to the mountains maybe could have lead to Rickert, but since you didn't have a lead for the hill of swords either in or out of character, there was no way you could have known that.
Still I guess you could sit this one out on Godot's house since Guts will go there to visit eventually. Maybe being on a horse means that you two can get there fast enough to stop Erica from letting Casca wander on her own, but we won't know until we get there.
Alternatively, you could throw caution to the wind and risk your body and mind in the reincarnation ceremony. Vlad has just started getting used to fighting low-mid tier apostles (If you can even call that beating he took at Ilos getting used to something.) At most you can help a few people evacuate and maybe help Guts not be as injured when fighting Mozgus by splitting the attention of his goons between the two of you. It would set a good precedent for the swordsman and the impaler to share their wounds so neither of them are paraplegic by the time they get to the final bout.
I would advise you not to interfere in the fight against El Grande Padre himself. Weaker nobodies like Joachim and the whores might have lived through the reincarnation, but that's because they knew they were weak and kept to their place. Being at the midst of Eclipse 2: Electric Boogaloo means you'll be placing wards left right and center just not to get possessed (Which might happen either way depending on rolls)
I don't like doing rerolls but since any fuckup can lead to serious consequences or death I'd say there are two items that can serve as bypasses, call it plot armor if you will. There's Sivir's magic 8 Ball, which will probably kill her since she's currently hiding from a
Kraken, and Merlina's cloak that will Bayonetta climax summon an apostle straight to hell much like Behelit Sword. All of them are one-use only, and I won't be handing these out every Thursday, if Vlad plans on living until endgame, he might not want to use these things on fodder foes or on battles he can avoid.
TL;DR: Don't even think about fighting Mozgus.
