>>5371206>>5371340>>5371358>After all that has happened recently, you'd rather not cause another uproar. Just see if you can find who's in charge here, and what the plan for you was.If you're able to break out of your cell this easily, then you expect that you could just escape without much trouble. After all the recent trouble since returning to Atlantis however, you fight the urge to just smash out of this place. Partly because you're still not fully recovered, but mostly because you don't want to draw much attention, and potentially the hostile notice of the king once again. Especially not if you have any long term aspirations for the sunken city.
So then, putting Faysal on your back so that you don't accidentally rip off his arm by moving too fast, you bust out of your holding cell... much to the alarm and upset of other inmates. Pleas for you to free them as well, or calls for the guards to set things right. As much as you'd like to let them all free, you don't want to devise a plan of avoiding attention only to go and draw as much attention as possible.
<span class="mu-s">"-hold on, what's tha- watch out!"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Gah! Flee, out of the way you fool!"</span>
Invariably you encounter a few guards here and there as you stomp through the underwater cavern, trying to find a way out. Though you aren't interested in dealing with them personally, Faysal raises the point that you could use them to get to their superior. And so after chasing and grabbing a guard, an aquatic hybrid like yourself (although much smaller) you can shake the information out of him, enough to lead the way to his immediate superior.
<span class="mu-b">"...what do you mean, arena?"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"-f-from the old city! I don't know what the humans used it for, but it's good entertainment around here! I only manage the cells, for participants before their bouts. The games master would know why you were brought here... but I promise he won't come down here, his place is up there!"</span>
Being led to the jailer down here, you can switch from grabbing one of the guards to the fellow in charge. Working your way up the chain of command, with some intimidation and force you learn about what's going on here. That you've been brought to the ruins of the old Atlantean coliseum, which are used today for all sorts of public entertainment and spectacle. In fact you yourself were to be put on show as soon as you'd recovered your wounds... which the guards all thought wouldn't be for several weeks or so.
