The muscles in your legs start to heat up as you push yourself further. As you draw closer to the end of the street the Houndour breaks into a sprint, aiming at you while barking fiercely.
It draws near as you maneuver your bike through the pothole-filled street trying to avoid any bump on the road that may slow you down. You move in a zigzag-like pattern to both avoid landing on a hole a getting a face full of hot pavement and confusing the canine. As you are about to meet you start turning to the right side of the street, mere meters from meeting the vicious mon, he leaps trying to intercept you with its maw open, but at the last minute you manage to make a sharp turn to the left, avoiding the canine who once again must build speed to try and catch up to you.
You don’t let up, pedaling until your legs start to hurt to not lose any speed. The fiery attacker manages to barely catch up to you but it’s getting exhausted. He tries to bite one of the tires but misses its mark. The Houndour slows down and starts to heavily pant, tired from the whole ordeal. It’s no longer a threat but it's still close enough to you.
