You tell the little ones you are a princess and that you are thankful for their Pappy's hospitality as well as thanking the little one for complimenting your outfit. Her eyes beamed with joy. The little ones excitedly talk about all the fun things they want to play with you as if you weren't there, although you can't help but notice you might have been guilty of doing something similar when you were smaller.
Of the many things they wanted to play with you, they wanted to play Tea Host the most, a game you're very familiar with. Kari and Puki had gone off to indulge in youthful fantasies, you heard that Kari was convinced by a group of little boys about a sacred pinecone they were questing for in the woods. Puki tagged along to make sure she didn't get into trouble. So you were left alone with Bubu who was never that good at playing Tea Host since he never got into character, but he also never said no to playing it.
The game was a roleplaying game much like playing house, although one played as the host, some as the guest, and everybody else as the servants. It was meant to mimic the Hammock Court, although much of it is derived from the interpretations and assumptions from stories read. The little girls wanted you to be the host and found some cups to use for cool water which they referred to as tea. The object of the game was to have the guest be received by the host to discuss their problems or good news. Although the guest has to offer some sort of thanks or gifts, the host is obligated to return the favor. However, while the guest is in charge of their own gratitude, the servants must obey whatever the host would like to reciprocate. A servant who fails to follow through with the host's requests is actually a bad look for the host for asking too much from their servants.
For the first round, you were the host and Bubu was the guest. You both did routine greetings and sat across from each other over a wicker plate carrying tea served by the little ones. When you asked what Bubu wanted or needed, he replied:
"This tea is cold... it's not even tea..."
How insensitive of Bubu! Of course, it's not real tea, these little ones aren't allowed to play with fire, he should have known better! As the host, you respond...
>"Oh dear, my apologies! Allow me to serve the tea myself."
>"Good gracious! Please forgive my servants, this is all my fault, I will make sure they serve you properly."
>"Outrageous! Did my servants make this serious mistake? How dare they embarrass me in front of my guest!"
>"Hnnn? Are you saying my servants failed to adequately serve you? How dare you insult my cute little servant!"
>"Bubu... please play along..."
