We return to the stage. He bought the brief explanation and the conversation continues, as cheery as before. As far as he knows, this was the first time she was at his house, after all. They got their things and left the building together shortly after. Maybe I’ll ask her about it tomorrow.
For now, I’ll just stay at the playhouse. Might as well go for another cup of roasted tea. Maybe talk to Zorn about stuff.
The storage is filled with a smoky aroma. Zorn remains on the stool, his eyes remain grim and shadowy as always, but what’s unusual is his attire - a mere nightshirt. Hardly an appropriate thing outside of one’s own home. When did he get time to change?
“Emi. Grantham’s in trouble.”
‘… what happened?’
What the hell did our illustrator do? I don’t think he ever gambled. Barely drinks. Did he get involved with people in the [criminal] life?
“He got robbed and beaten up. One.. maybe two hours ago. Some of his 'customers' didn’t like the prices on the pornography. Took quite a handful. If you can go talk to Lady Rin about it, maybe track them down, find where they kept those artwork, that would be great. Me and my friends will handle those guys.”

‘.. is his kid good?’
It’s a dangerous, albeit lucrative path. I don’t blame him.
“Yeah. They didn’t even see him. He was cleaning some dishes when it happened. If they were any slower they wouldn’t be walking out of the store.”
‘.. Zorn. When you find them.. what will you do?’
