>>5206347>Make sure every tank that is on the field is going to be in tip top shape.Of course, to win the tournament, you need tanks. More specifically, you need tanks that will continue to function throughout the match. You cast a baleful eye at Werewolf for a moment before sighing. It’s not his fault that there were a few engine problems in the Unlimited Class, and ultimately, they were just bad luck – unavoidable. What you can do however is minimise the avoidable breakdowns, and you know that Miho is rather proud of how few breakdowns your team has had.
“Maintenance time everyone!” You announce as you walk in. There are groans from those that aren’t already doing it, but Miho quickly chimes in.
“He’s right! All the training in the world is useless if your tank breaks down on the way to the fight!”
Most people were already moving to get to work, but Miho’s reminder prompts the rest to get to it as well. You also turn your attention to maintenance. With a tank like Werewolf, there’s always work to be done, particularly on the interleaving roadwheels.
“Working on the wheels?” You ask Max and Axel as you walk over. The two of then are hunched over the front of Werewolf’s left track.
“Unfortunately,” Max grumbles, getting a sagely nod from Axel. “Sometimes I think about saying fuck it ‘nd replacin’ the entire thing with a normal wheel system. Save us the trouble.”
“And make the ride even worse? No thank you,” you chuckle. “Besides I’m sure Werewolf would kill you.”
A feeling of casual agreement rolls through you, and you can’t tell whether Werewolf is joking or not. You decide not to say anything and instead help Max with the road wheels, so he doesn’t get any ideas.
