>>6169808It doesn't look like you can make a lot of progress with that spell before the exam. You consider casting it on yourself before it begins, but it might be better not to since you don't know what the exam will entail, it could be something where the clarity spell works against you for all you know. This time, you do however have one more trick up your sleeve to make the dungeon easier... mana runes! Now, normally you can only hold 4 at a time, for a total of about 100 mana stored in there. It's because keeping mana runes too close to each other in too high of a number messes with the mana flow. However, you can work around this by putting 4 mana runes in your pocket space, and 4 mana runes in your actual pockets, for a total of 200 mana! Add that up to your current mana, and your mana has effectively tripled!
You fist bump the air, a stupid smile forming on your face. You didn't exactly get to truly test out the mana storing runes before since Table was always available, the timeloop didn't allow making much use of it either for obvious reasons. You impatiently wait for the dungeon portal to show up. This should be a piece of cake now that you've got mana to spare.
The teleportation is a little bit more sudden this time, you don't even feel the portal form under you, it was like a more direct form of teleportation, as if your body just blinked into the dungeon, huh.
You check your mana storing runes, they're still here in your pocket, good. You wait for Kit to say his usual opening line, but nothing comes. Looks like the tutorial phase is over, gotta figure things out entirely by yourself now. You're in a room with 4 doors. Each door has something written on them, one says 'speed and wit', another 'strength', then 'mental and physical', finally, 'endurance'.
Are those supposed to say what kind of challenge there will be behind the doors? What does physical and mental mean, though? Isn't endurance a form of physical prowess too? What about strength, isn't that also physical?
You analyze and mana feel the doors, they all seem to trigger...something when being opened, but as far as you can tell nothing stops you from opening any of them right away. All the doors are also linked to what looks like a chalk board on the roof, of all places. The board only has 'difficulty: 0' written on it, does that mean they made it easier for you because you're human? No, that doesn't make any sense, if this is connected to the doors, then surely the board will be affected if you open one of them, right?
It's tempting to open every door, but you don't think this dungeon is on a timer, so let's take things one step at a time, what will you do first?
Current mana: 100/100 (200 additional mana stored in runes.)
