The Deltamon roars, charging up its largest attack yet. From its position further down the street, it aims all three heads at the Cargodramon that's been shooting it with its Gatling guns. The draconic aircraft moves upwards, forcing the three-headed beast to tilt its body back and aim. It doesn't get out of range in time.

Balls of blue energy appear in each head. You've watched the Cyclomon and Greymon pull out impressive fireballs on their own, but nothing matches this. It's higher quality and higher quantity, condensed in a single Digimon. Astamon charges back to you and stands guard as the energy balls converge into a massive beam.
Triplex Force rips through the street, bathing everything in blue. The other combatants pause in awe and terror, watching as it rips straight through the wing of the Ultimate-level Digimon. By the time it fades, many lesser Digimon have been slain by the sheer heat, mostly clustered around Deltamon's feet. Cargodramon is badly injured, and is given the order to back off. The sound of its spinning blades and whirring engine slowly fade away as it slips between two buildings, scraping against a wall with its damaged side.
You're quite sure that it could defeat this thing if it advanced, but it doesn't have the luxury of throwing itself against the Composite abomination. It has to retreat for tactical purposes.
<span class="mu-s">"That... Was bigger than his."</span> Astamon remarks, as he sprays a new Greymon straight in the eye. As the bullets bypass the hardened skull and blind their target, Hi-Commandramon shoots it in the open mouth with a grenade from behind you.
"Bigger than his Fire Blast. Yeah." You agree. "But he's not even the one in charge."
If this monstrosity listens to your nemesis, then he must have grown even stronger. You have to destroy this one to prove that you can take him. Neither you nor your partner will be satisfied with leaving it alive.
"We need a different approach, it's too risky to go upfront."
