>>5315451>>5315460>>5315550"Puck, can you find a mug, or a bag, or anything you can carry with you? We need something that can hold liquid in. Grab the Behelit with it if possible."
"The great Puck will fulfill your wishes! BEEEP!" The elf makes the sound of a phone disconnecting, promptly ending the call.
With a few more minutes awaiting, you hear the sound of something falling down the stairs, with a sharp, squeaky scream inching closer to your hearing.
"WHOAAA!" Puck collides into a wall inside a golden chalice, holding a Behelit around his body. Rolling outside the cup and handing you the blue egg... While standing at your opposite direction.
"Alright Vlad... Which one of the 4 of you I'll have the honor of handing this little gem to?" He spins the Behelit in his hands, wondering why his vision was quadrupled.
"You couldn't fly over here?"
"Not with this much baggage with me I couldn't! I'm strong, but I'm no Hercules! Plus my back muscles are all sore! You have no idea how much I had to hover on Serpico for his heart to beat, and even then, he's in pretty bad shape! " You observe if the chalice had any dents or holes before switching containers.
It's safer, still full to the point of relying on surface tension to hold the liquid in, but it's better than a paper cup for sure.
"That'll do, Puck. Thanks a lot. Couldn't you get the one Guts has?"
"I tried talking to him, but when Guts is in fighting mode, he can't babble much else than 'AGH UGH EGUAGHH!' No point in trying, either. At least Rita stayed up there to help with the two from the church, so no need to worry about them, right?"
"Not quite, if Guts dies, we're next." You stumble back into the secret passageway, despite doing a lot more than what one should be expected to.
As you climb upwards, Hyde stays back to wake Gunpowder up and carry the injured on his back.
You can't believe how the Behelit fits so easily in your hand now, it wasn't that long ago in which the abyss severed your ties with your magic and with your real mother.
You're starting to understand why Guts keeps his around, it's partly to remember who he wishes to destroy, yet the energy that comes from staying with one of these is like wearing a sign on you that says 'eventual apostle'.
What to do with this...
>Purge it. Surely it won't be like last time.>Stay with it for now, the skull knight >Keep it, it might be useful eventually.>Throw it away, it's not yours.
